Have you ever seen a groom rap? I haven’t, so I’m stoked my first time came at the hands of the new Mr. and Mrs. Tolentino. Easily one of the best surprise wedding performances I’ve ever seen, Kris performed an awesome rap for Richiel after their first dance and I can’t wait to share the full footage of it. There’s a longer film coming soon, but for now enjoy more of the groom’s wordsmithing skills with his equally heartfelt and well-written vows. Congratulations Richiel and Kris, and thank you for sharing your beautiful love story with us!!
It was a lovely Valentine’s Day for a wedding, and we were lucky enough to spend it with the new Mr. and Mrs. Navor. One of our favorite things about weddings is when you can feel the love emanating from all throughout the room, which was most certainly the case for Michelle and EJ. Michelle said it in her thank you speech, it isn’t the details that make a wedding, it’s the people, and these people not only all loved the bride and groom, but also made our team feel welcome, and made our jobs super easy with their amazing speeches.
Congratulations Michelle and EJ!! Hope you love your film as much as we do!
WOW. so a few months I was “surprised” to celebrate a special moment in my career. Its been 10 years and 565 weddings and Cherrie and my team led by Dominique put together a beautiful surprise to celebrate the milestone. I’ve always been one to just put my head down and work, forget what time it is and just get things done. I’ve always put my couples first and just focused on making things run, but i’ve always forgot to celebrate (or eat) haha. But this was a great opportunity to slow down and really just take whats happened in. There’s a lot of changes coming up including slowing down on the amount of weddings we’re shooting starting next year, I’m excited to know my team will continue on and we’ll still provide the same, or even better, a service than before. My team has been everything I could ask for and I’m looking forward to the next 10 years. Thank you to all of you reading this, who’ve supported me and my dreams, and will continue on in the future. Please enjoy!
Another year down, another Best Of reel up!
Thanks to all the couples, coordinators, venues, and vendors who made 2019 possible!
Thanks most of all to our awesome shooters, whose hard work and creativity made this one of my favorite reels to date.
I’m a little behind and i should have posted this 2 weeks ago when it went up! I have so many 2019 weddings to share, a 10 year anniversary and a best of 2019. Before I delve into that the next few weeks, here is the same day edit we did mid January for Lawrence and Donna. Hope you like how we did a little meta and shared our couple watching the same day edit in real timeThis was actually really cool because it looks like they’re actually watching the video AS they are watching. Genius i tell you genius.
We closed out 2019 with an amazing Nightmare Before Christmas-themed wedding for Angelica and Paul. These two were some of the sweetest, most family-centric individuals we’ve ever had the pleasure of filming. All throughout the day, the most important thing to Angelica was making sure her loved ones felt special and cared for, and you could just feel how much her family reciprocated her love in return. What better way to finish the season.
Congratulations you two, and thank you for sharing your special day with us!
It was back to Long Beach for the team for this second to last wedding of the year! From beginning to end, Kristine and Mark’s wedding was filled with beautiful, thoughtful touches honoring each of their families and the life they built together. My favorite were golden dragonflies in the bride’s bouquet and all throughout the reception venue, representing Mark’s mom. But everything about the day showcased how much this couple cares about honoring the people who’ve made the two of them the awesome couple they are today.
Happy early Christmas, hope you guys love your film, and thank you guys for being amazing!!
The E-Bell Club in Long Beach is one of my favorite venues. Nice, open light, gorgeous tile flooring, and the preferred venue for some of our most stylish couples! Grady and Jaime of course were no exception. From their beautiful courtyard ceremony to their EDM-y glow-stick filled dance party, everything about their wedding was picture perfect. There were so many fun clips to choose from, please enjoy this small snippet!
Congrats Grady and Jaime, and thank you for letting us capture your big day!!

The JEP team got the chance to kick off the holiday season at the always festive Mission Inn hotel in Riverside. Decked out with orange gourds and lights for fall, the Mission Inn was a gorgeous venue to host Rhea and John’s autumn wedding last month.
Not to mention the super fun wedding party and epic fog machine for the first dance.
Congrats Rhea and John and thank you for letting us capture your big day!! Happy holidays and hope you guys love your video!!
This year, I spent my birthday in a castle. No joke. A real castle in the actual French countryside.
Okay, so technically it was a chateau, but STILL.
Back in August, the video team was given the incredible opportunity to travel to France to shoot Daniela and Frank’s gorgeous wedding at the Chateau de Challain La Potherie. From exploring Paris, to visiting the UNESCO World Heritage Mont St Michel, to getting to know their amazing friends and family, the trip, for lack of better phrasing, completely took our breaths away.
Seriously, I cried. Multiple times. It was that beautiful.
But don’t take my word for it, please watch the film and see for yourselves!
Thank you guys so much for letting us capture your big day, thanks so much for your friendship and hospitality, and hope you love your film!
Got the wonderful opportunity to do an extended highlight for Sheila and Cecil — wonderful, because Sheila and Cecil had some pretty amazing vows and reception speeches, which made it a breeze to edit.
Click play to hear funny childhood stories, touching promises, and at least one hilarious instance of miscommunication.
Congrats again Sheila and Cecil and thank you for trusting us to capture your beautiful day!
I can’t gush enough about how fun this wedding was! Held at The Moxi children’s museum in Santa Barbara, Allison and Viet’s labor day soiree perfectly captured their cool and playful energy. It also gave us the opportunity to reunite with some of our favorite past brides, from Chiell-Ann Ordonez, who coordinated, to Hikari Murakami, our makeup artist, to Yuri Tag and Clarizcel Roxas, who were in the bridal party. Not to mention all the Kaba Modern dancers who lit up the roof of the Moxi with their super fun performance, linked below.
I really don’t believe my words can do the night justice though, so please check out Allison and Viet’s amazing highlight below!
One of the best parts of our jobs is working with couples who are just good people, and Kitty and Bryan are such an amazing example of that. From their interactions with the JEP team to everyone at their wedding, it’s just so easy to see how much love they have for the people around them, and how much those people love them in return.
Kitty and Bryan, thank you so much for being so fun, so welcoming, and so easy to work with. Your wedding was an absolute dream to shoot, and I sincerely hope you guys love your video!!
Loved shooting Josie and Drew’s wedding last weekend! It was another packed day complete with three different locations and two different ceremonies, one Vietnamese tea and one traditional American. These two were such a fun couple, as was the rest of their entourage, and their energy helped hype us up throughout the whole day.
Congrats you two, and thank you for letting us share your big day!
